We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Planner to join the team at a large retail outlet in the Plymouth area. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for design and a passion for creating compelling visual merchandising displays that enhance the customer shopping experience.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies in line with brand standards and seasonal themes.
- Collaborate with the retail team to ensure visual displays are aligned with current promotions and inventory levels.
- Create eye-catching window displays, in-store arrangements, and signage that attract and engage customers.
- Plan and execute the layout of merchandise to maximise visibility and sales.
- Train and guide retail staff on visual merchandising standards and best practices.
- Monitor the retail environment and customer interactions to gather insights for improving visual presentation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative visual merchandising techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in visual merchandising or a similar role within a retail environment.
- Strong understanding of visual design principles and retail merchandising.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in using design software to create visual plans and layouts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
