About the Role
Our applications and cloud services play a vital role in providing operators, airports, and landowners with the tools to intuitively understand the state of the airspace in which they are operating or controlling. Complex airspace shapes, rules, and regulations are translated into a digestible model, providing the tooling to request and obtain or approval access to regulated airspace and/or private land. They inform the operator about potential and actual conflicting traffic and interacting with airspace management systems and authorities - whether a human or machine interface.
As our Release Manager, you will form part of our Engineering team, responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling and coordination of software releases. A project manager, with a deep understanding of the software development process, working collaboratively with teams across the organisation, you will ensure the continued successful deployment of our high quality software releases.
What You will Do
Project Management
- Lead and manage multiple software development projects simultaneously
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to ensure successful project delivery
- Manage the specification, design, development, testing, deployment, commissioning, go-live, customer business testing, early life support, and service transition
Coordination and Communication
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and business analysts
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline and automate software delivery processes
Agile Practices
- Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organisation Technical Leadership
- Work with the Technical Lead and architecture to support defining/improving consistent technical standards and best practices through a Technical Roadmap
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Key Requirements
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools, specifically Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with software development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
