Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional needs in Derby City. Experience working as a TA is essential, and prior experience in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) is highly desirable.
- Location: Derby City
- Start Date: Full-time, starting after the October half-term
- Class: Year 2
- Pay: £84 - £104 per day, depending on experience

Year 2 Learning Support Assistant Role:
As the successful candidate, you will play a key role in supporting the progress and development of a Year 2 class. Your duties will include:
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery, classroom management, and creating a positive learning atmosphere.
- Providing one-on-one support to pupils facing learning challenges, helping them understand the curriculum.
- Preparing teaching materials and organising resources for lessons.
- Building positive relationships with pupils based on trust and mutual respect.
- Collaborating with key stage staff and the wider team to share resources, advice, and best practices.
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant TA qualifications
- Strong references supporting prior experience
- A full CV covering your employment history
- Right to work in the UK
