My client is a well established film production company based in the west end.
They are seeking a steady transactional bookkeeper to join their team
the ideal candidate will be AAT qualified, have covered AP, AR and CC.
This individual must be happy to stay in a transactional role for the next 3-4 years.
Xero experience is very desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience of Xero, including multi- currency and tracking by production
- Attention to detail and common sense
- Good working knowledge of VAT
- Invoice processing, posting and filing - weekly
- Following up purchase and sales invoices and liaising with suppliers and customers
- Bank reconciliations
- Bank imports to Xero
- VAT returns - EED monthly and other companies quarterly
- Salary journals - monthly
- Expenses input and reconciliation
- Credit card analysis and reconciliation
- Access to Barclays.net
- Reference to budget and budget exchange rates
- Tight reporting deadlines for month end reporting
Technical accounting skills
- Experience of Xero, including multi- currency and tracking by territory
- Attention to detail and common sense
- Good working knowledge of VAT
- Invoice processing, posting and filing - weekly
- Following up purchase and sales invoices and liaising with suppliers and customers
- Bank reconciliations
- Non sterling currency bank imports to Xero
- Masters maintenance - weekly and month end - all territories
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Salary journals - monthly
- Expenses input and reconciliation
- Access to Barclays.net
- Reference to budget and budget exchange rates
- Tight reporting deadlines for month end reporting
