The Role:
You will be covering for a teacher returning from maternity leave who is easing back into work with a part-time schedule. This is a part-time position, requiring you to work just two days per week. The specific days are negotiable, allowing you to choose the ones that best fit your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to Year 2 students.
Planning and preparing lesson materials in line with the national curriculum.
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
Creating a supportive and positive classroom environment.
Collaborating with colleagues and participating in school activities.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2, is desirable.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners.
