Part Time Warehouse Operative

We are looking for a diligent Warehouse Operative to join our team in Basingstoke. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse by picking and packing orders, ensuring the warehouse is clean, and completing invoices.
Day to Day of the role:
- Accurately pick and pack orders from delivery notes, ensuring all items are accounted for and packaged securely.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to facilitate efficient operations.
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a small team to meet daily targets.
- Utilize Microsoft Word and independent shipping systems to process orders and complete necessary documentation.
- Prepare and complete invoices accurately prior to dispatch, ensuring all details are correct and up to date.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and the ability to learn new shipping systems quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order picking and invoicing.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to maintain a tidy and safe workspace.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential.
