Manufacturing Engineer | Lean | 6-Sigma | Motorsport | Eynsham | £50,000pa:
A leading manufacturer based in the West Oxfordshire area is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Continuous Improvement, Production Engineer to work on developing and improving manufacturing cells, NPI / new product introductions and the improvement of existing ones.
This is an incredibly varied Manufacturing Engineer role, as you and will be working for a company which manufactures high tech components for a range of industries, including motorsport, F1, automotive, aerospace and defence.
The Manufacturing Engineer will ideally have the following skills and attributes:
- A degree/HND in Manufacturing/Production/Industrial engineering or relevant equivalent experience.
- Ideally 6-Sigma trained, white belt, yellow belt or green belt certified
- Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques with a proven track, record of delivering positive cost, quality and performance results.
- Demonstrated ability to utilise structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Management System.
- Knowledge of Project Management techniques and experience leading cross functional project teams.
- Computer literate with experience of using ERP/MRP systems such as production routings and BOM Structures.
