The Job
An interim opportunity to join this business for a 6 month period, taking handover from the current incumbent. Office based and potentially to lead to permanent.
Day to day, this role will include:
- Month end reporting, ensure accurate reporting and achievements of deadlines whilst undertaking reviews of projects and challenging underlying calculations and providing analysis to the Project division and SLT.
- Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts, annual budgets and variance analysis reports together.
- Support business unit managers and assist them in the delivery of their annual business plans, providing financial and commercial guidance where necessary.
- Prepare detailed cost analysis including staff costings, liaising with other departments within the company including supporting payroll data submissions.
- Assistance with internal controls & processes.
- Budget preparation.
- Track performance of projects and run reports

About You
- Qualified Accountant preferred, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Have proven project accounting experience producing the monthly management accounts, budgets and cash control including analysing and commenting on varinances
- Experience of Manufacturing/Engineering or Construction environment preferred
- Experience of cost accounting.
- Multi sire reporting controls.
- Have great communications skills and stakeholder engagement.
