**Tax Executive - £50,000+ | Hybrid | Award-Winning Accountancy Firm | East London

Are you a commercially minded tax professional ready to join a modern and progressive accountancy firm?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing practice that's looking for an experienced Tax Executive to play a key role within their dynamic tax department. If you thrive on delivering technically excellent advice, enjoy managing a varied portfolio, and want to be part of a supportive, high-performing team — this could be your next big move.

**The Role

Working closely with the Head of Tax, you'll provide expert tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to a diverse client base — spanning everything from corporation tax to R&D incentives. You'll be a go-to contact for your clients, offering tailored advice and helping to drive long-term success for both them and the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-level tax advice across a variety of sectors
  • Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns
  • Identify and manage R&D tax incentive claims
  • Provide bespoke tax planning to minimise liabilities
  • Manage your own portfolio and develop long-standing client relationships
  • Stay up to date with legislation and proactively share knowledge with colleagues
  • Support new business initiatives and promote client retention

**What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in tax compliance and advisory (practice-based)
  • Comfortable managing a client portfolio with minimal supervision
  • Up-to-date understanding of UK tax law and HMRC requirements
  • Confident communicator who can translate complex tax issues clearly
  • Experience with R&D claims would be highly desirable
  • CTA-qualified or actively studying towards CTA/ACA/ACCA

**Why Join This Firm?

This isn't your average accountancy practice. They invest heavily in their people and culture — offering meaningful progression, study support, and real work-life balance.

Perks include:

  • £50,000+ salary (depending on experience)
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + loyalty leave + 3 'Me' Days
  • Hybrid working: 3 days office / 2 from home
  • Flexible hours
  • Enhanced maternity & paternity pay
  • Full study support (AAT, ACCA, ACA, CTA)
  • Private medical cover (eligibility applies)
  • Career pathway with personal development reviews
