SEN Teacher - Newham

Are you looking for a new role working in a primary SEN school working with students with Autism in Stratford, Newham? If so, this may be the perfect role for you?

I am currently working alongside a lovely primary SEN school who are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teacher to lead a mixed KS1 class for students with Autism and/or learning difficulties.

The position is based in Stratford, Newham and will be a full-time, long-term position starting immediately till the end of the academic year. There will be an opportunity to go permanent at the end of the academic year. The position is paid to scale depending on your experience.

About the role:

  • Primary SEN school
  • Mixed KS1 class, Year 1 and Year 2
  • Full-time, long-term contract
  • Opportunity to go permanent
  • M1 to M6 pay scale plus SEN allowance
  • Leading a class of up to 9 students with Autism and/or learning difficulties
  • Training and regular CPD's provided by the school to boost professional development

The ideal candidate:

  • Have experience working and teaching in a SEN environment
  • Led classes with students with Autism
  • Can work from 08:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Be patient, reliable, and nurturing
  • Be able to trial and/or interview immediately
