Join a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to driving innovation for Client Care Technology (CCT) which is a sub-division of Corporate Technology where we build and support applications for Payments Investigation domain. As a Production Engineer, you will be part of CCT Production team and will be working in agile environment with feature teams across globe to manage application & services hosted on Cloud/On-premises Platforms. You will be also demonstrating:

  • Reliability engineering mindset to understand how the systems were built, how we should establish Observability for proactive monitoring of systems, Thorough investigation and resolution of System incidents and user queries within SLA.
  • With strong focus on Production Stability a hands on approach is expected in driving Problem/Incident/Change Management and Continuous improvement activities.
  • Aligning to ITIL Process Management standards.

Your key responsibilities

  • Applying strong engineering skills in proactively monitoring application life cycle, resolving system incidents before users realizing the problems, solving functional queries with deep understanding of applications.
  • Lead by example to drive a culture of proactive continual improvements in Production environment through automation of manual work, monitoring improvements and platform hygiene.
  • Carry out technical analysis of the Production platform to identify, prioritize and remediate performance and resiliency issues.
  • Understanding the Agile culture and tools to facilitate timely reviews of changes, highlighting testing gaps prior to releases, minimize the production risks and improve the quality of change governance.

Your skills and experience

  • Technical experience in supporting production environments within financial domains. Preferably in Payments Domain.
  • Must be strong in web Technologies - Java OR Dot Net based application knowledge for both support and deployment.
  • Must have database knowledge - Oracle 12c/19c, SQL/PL-SQL, Debugging of code and database performance issues.
  • Must be familiar with Windows/Unix platforms, Shell scripting, cloud platform like GCP, Ansible coding, containerization/Kubernetes, DevOps Tools - Bit Bucket/GitHub, Jenkins, Team City, Monitoring Tools- Splunk, New Relic, Geneos, Agile Collaboration Tools like Confluence, JIRA, etc
  • Must be certified in ITIL V3/V4 OR Site Reliability Engineering
  • Awareness on Hadoop/Salesforce and familiarity in RHEL 7.x / 6.x, Open Shift platform management is preferred but not essential
