File Administrator

Kennedys are seeking a File Administrator to be a part of our newly established global Master Data Management (MDM) team. This newly created role will be based in Sheffield.

The role will be primarily responsible for supporting the file opening processes within the conflicts management and new business intake tool, INTAPP and the file opening process within the Case Management system KASE. In addition, you will support data checking initiatives that are designed to improve accuracy, consistency, and compliance of data held within our financial system (Elite3E).

Team

Kennedys' Finance team ensures global support by delivering precise financial and management information, reporting solutions, and operational assistance to maintain exceptional service standards for internal and external clients. Part of the Business Intelligence unit, our team includes key roles such as the Global MDM Lead, MDM Team Managers, Local MDM Supervisors, and localised MDM SME's and Data Administrators Teams in the UK, India, and the USA.

Key responsibilities

  • Input the data into our Data Management and Case Management systems within specified time frames
  • Regularly monitor master data entries for completeness and accuracy, taking necessary actions to rectify discrepancies
  • Identify potential non-compliance with the Firm's MDM policies and procedures and escalate as appropriate
  • Process master data transfers and update details as required by stakeholders and the Financial Operations team
  • Assist with data governance influenced by MDM.

Required experience

  • Good level of IT skills, including Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills with a confident telephone manner and strong writing skills
  • Experience in finance systems.
