Lead Developer - Typescript & React

London - hybrid at least 3x a week on site, 2 from home Salary discussed in call with Eligo Typescript & React experience essential

About the Role:

We're seeking a talented Developer to join our dynamic, small team based in London. You'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our complex, real-time web UI.

You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies like TypeScript, React, and .NET Core to build high-performance, user-friendly applications. Your deep understanding of these tools will be essential to balancing efficiency with exceptional user experiences.

Beyond development, you'll contribute to our agile process by writing automated tests and refining our Continuous Integration tooling. Your ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams, from understanding user needs to implementing intuitive designs, is crucial.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain features for our real-time web UI
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure optimal performance and user experience
  • Write comprehensive automated tests to support agile development
  • Contribute to the improvement of our Continuous Integration processes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional development experience
  • At least 2 years of experience with TypeScript and React, Angular, or Vue
  • Strong understanding of web development technologies and best practices
  • Experience with Webpack, .NET, SignalR, Rx, and Google.Protobuf is a plus
  • A keen eye for design and user experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience with version control (Git), issue tracking (Jira), and continuous integration tools (TeamCity or similar)
  • A strong academic background in a technical field
