The client is a cutting-edge financial technology company operating in the UK and EU, known for its innovative approach to trading, including subscription pricing models and advanced exchange infrastructure. The firm is a challenger in the financial markets, offering both primary listings and secondary trading of equities, as well as licensing proprietary technology globally.

Description

  • Day-to-day maintenance and operation of exchange platforms.
  • First-line support, including handling phone calls and help desk queries, and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Troubleshooting, issue diagnosis, and internal escalation.
  • Managing security reference data for all platforms.
  • Collaborating with departments such as Compliance, Infrastructure, and Sales to monitor live operations.
  • Raising and deploying changes to support platform operations and compiling reports on any outages.

Profile

The ideal Support Analyst candidate will have strong technical skills including proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux, and scripting languages, and experience in the UK and EU equity markets. Prior experience with FIX Protocol and G.I.T version control is essential, along with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
