Job Opportunity: Group Management Accountant
Location: Outskirts of Tamworth (Hybrid Working - 2 Days On-Site, 3 Days Remote) Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Robert Half, is delighted to bring to market a Group Management Accountant for their esteemed client, a large listed business. This opportunity offers a hybrid working model, with two days on-site at the Tamworth office and three days working remotely.
About the Role:
The Group Management Accountant will report to the Group Reporting Manager and play a pivotal role in the Group Month-End close process. Key responsibilities include managing the consolidation system, collaborating with finance teams across the Group, and ensuring timely financial reporting. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to contribute to process improvements and work within a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and standardisation efforts across finance teams.
- Oversee the Group Month-End close process, including management of the consolidation system.
- Coordinate with finance teams across the Group to ensure that financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Prepare month-end accounts for corporate entities and ensure debt schedules are maintained.
- Assist with projects such as inter-company loan simplification and budgeting/forecasting for corporate entities.
- Work alongside the Group Financial Controller to produce statutory accounts and assist with the annual audit process.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Group Management Accountant role or a similar position.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end processes, and consolidation systems.
- A passion for driving process improvements and efficiency across teams.
