Academics are working with a fantastic 2-form entry school in Berkhamsted. This is a long-term role until July 2025, commencing in September.

Job Title: Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. Excellent transport links with access to the A41 and plenty of space to park your car. If you're looking to us public transport, the national railway line (Berkhamsted Station) is a walk away - there's also great bus links just off the high street.
Sector: Primary School, supporting Key Stage One Pupils with Special Education Needs
Pay: £85-£95 per day (weekly pay) Depending on experience
Dates: November start to July 2025

Key responsibilities within the role:
- Attend to pupils' personal needs, and implement related personal programmes (must be comfortable taking both girls and boys to the toilet)
- Providing support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
- Building and maintaining successful relationships with students, whilst treating them with respect and consideration
- Have the highest expectation that every student will make sustained academic and personal progress
- Ensure that every pupil is ready for the next steps in their learning and is supported to participate and contribute to.
