Job Title: Credit Controller

About the Company:
Macildowie is delighted to be working with a well-established client who is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for candidates who are available immediately or on short notice and are eager to contribute to a dynamic finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Credit Controller, you will be instrumental in managing the company's credit control processes. Your primary duties will include:
- Credit Control Administration: Oversee and manage day-to-day credit control functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Account Reconciliation and Allocation: Reconcile customer accounts and accurately allocate incoming payments.
- Customer Communication: Engage with customers via phone and email to obtain remittance advice and purchase orders, ensuring all transactions are completed smoothly.
- Data Management: Assist in the capture and cleansing of customer data to maintain up-to-date and accurate records.
- Financial Adjustments: Facilitate minor financial adjustments and write-offs as necessary.
Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a credit control or similar financial role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using IT tools and financial software.
- Communication Skills: A confident and professional telephone manner is essential for this role.
