Cruise Marketing Manager

Hays Travel is seeking a dynamic and driven Cruise Marketing Manager to join our passionate marketing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a marketing professional with over three years of experience in the travel industry, particularly within the cruise sector.

As the main point of contact for cruise marketing efforts across the business, you will work closely with the Head of Marketing, contributing to the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies that enhance the Hays cruise product and resonate with our customers.

We are looking for someone who not only understands the nuances of the marketing mix but also brings fresh ideas and solutions to the table. You will be deeply involved in the travel industry, with a strong understanding of the cruise market, and will play a key role in shaping our marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, management, and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring they meet objectives and deliver measurable results
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to design and manage campaigns within allocated budgets
  • Work closely with specialised functions within the marketing department to integrate expert insights into comprehensive marketing plans
  • Oversee creative development, ensuring campaigns are delivered seamlessly from concept to execution
  • Write, edit, and proofread promotional materials (e.g. brochures) to support marketing initiatives
  • Provide detailed reports on campaign performance, including commercial impact and effectiveness
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of marketing materials, providing final approvals where necessary
  • Utilise data to inform the development of new campaigns and assess the effectiveness of existing ones
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify market opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends

Key Competencies

  • A minimum of three years' experience in coordinating and leading marketing campaigns within the travel industry, with a strong preference for cruise experience
  • Proficiency across the full marketing mix, with the ability to implement, manage, and report on campaign performance
  • Strong decision-making skills with a proven ability to take initiative and lead tasks to completion
  • A results-driven mindset, with a desire to meet and exceed targets
