Temporary Executive Assistant

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, fully office-based

Role: Our client, a regulated financial services advisory business located in Central London, is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide exceptional organisational and administrative support to their CEO. This is a full-time, office-based role requiring a keen attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role is expected to be go temporary to permanent.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the CEO's email inbox and filing system
  • Oversee to-do lists and project trackers
  • Produce high-quality emails to external clients and counterparties
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to brief on upcoming commitments and prepare for meetings and tasks
  • Perform general administrative duties, including calendar management and scheduling meetings
  • Edit spreadsheets and presentations, including printing and binding for client meetings
  • Utilise Excel and Outlook to update contacts
  • Handle incoming postal correspondence and file paperwork
  • Conduct research on special topics as assigned
  • Manage sensitive information, confidential reports, and documents, ensuring appropriate security and confidentiality controls are in place

Key Skills:

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional management of confidential and sensitive information
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, with a desire to add value and assist the team
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Dedication and a strong work ethic
  • Experience as an Executive Assistant within the Financial Services sector is preferred
