We are seeking a dedicated and efficient HR Administrative Support to join our Human Resources team on a temporary basis for maternity cover. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills to contribute to a fast-paced and supportive environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining personal records and ensuring the highest standards of data management within the HR department.
Day to Day of the role:
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records, managing correspondence with candidates and updating employment details.
- Answer telephones, handle enquiries, and provide general administrative support to the HR team.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations in the storage and handling of employee files.
- Manage leave records, attendance tracking, and update employee status changes.
- Organise HR events, manage calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with the preparation of HR documents.
- Attend meetings as required, with potential minute-taking responsibilities.
- Support initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
- Coordinate with the health and safety officer regarding workplace incidents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an office environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in document handling.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and experience with PAMS software.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in a similar industry or sector.
- Familiarity with employment legislation.
- Knowledge of NTD software.
