Recruitment Coordinator, London, SE1, £14.50ph (equivalent to annual salary of £28K)

4 months, hybrid work model, immediate start

Progressive medical organisation requires a self motivated Recruitment Coordinator/Administrator to deliver efficient and accurate recruitment administration for the Bank staff.

Duties will include:

  • Coordinate and support the end-to-end recruitment process; Post job adverts, process applicant paperwork
  • Undertake employment checks to NHS standards
  • Undertake recruitment administration using electronic applicant tracking system
  • Ensure the recruitment database is accurate and kept up to date
  • Creating and filing accurate personnel records
  • Maintain availability of Staff Bank pool of candidates
  • Selecting appropriate candidates to fill requirements and assign
  • Effectively deploy bank workers to varying assignments
  • Support with booking of Locum staff from external suppliers
  • Investigate timesheet queries as requested
  • Work with HR and Payroll to ensure new starters are set up in a timely manner
  • Ensure all changes to terms and conditions are communicated to the Payroll and HR
  • Ownership of departmental mailboxes ensuring emails are responded to in a timely manner
  • Liaising with hiring managers to understand requirements and provide advice
  • Supporting the team with sourcing prospective candidates using online platforms e.g. LinkedIn
  • Screen CV's and qualify applicants over the phone
  • Assisting with assessment centres for roles

Requirements

  • Proven Recruitment Coordinator experience
  • Temporary, bank staff or high volume recruitment experience
  • Ideally experience working within the NHS/healthcare sector
  • Excellent onboarding and compliance knowledge
  • Previous experience of working with confidential and sensitive data
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Self-motivated individual who requires minimal supervision and is able to take responsibility for management of own tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy
  • Excellent IT skills e.g. Excel spreadsheets, databases and word processing
