Our client, a well respect and ambitious charity in County Durham are looking to recruit a Finance Manager into their growing and ambitious organisation. This is a Hybrid role where largely you will be left to work out the best structure and location as the role develops.
The role
It's an exciting and rewarding role for the right person. They're in the process of transforming their business and are looking for a diligent and dynamic finance professional, with the ability to interpret and present financial data and inform strategic and operational decisions. Once you're up to speed you'll have the opportunity to develop new financial systems in conjunction with our technical partners to enable the management information and planning for our profitable and sustainable future.
The role will enable you work alongside and meet some amazing people, support financial wellbeing and make a difference to people's lives.
What we are looking for:
In this role you will:
- Contribute towards the continuous improvement and development of the Charity ensuring that consideration is always given to achieving best use of resources and the most efficient way of working.
- Oversee and co-ordinate the preparation of detailed annual budgets and medium term financial planning.
- Monitor, forecast and profile budgets, ensuring the statement of accounts are closed within regulatory deadlines.
- Develop and maintain the Charitie's Financial Management System.
- Liaise with key partners and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain financial and operational policies.
As finance professional you will already have an impressive background, to thrive within this role you will need to be:

- At least AAT qualifed
- A good communicator.
- Committed to the provision customers focussed services.
- Interested in Financial System Technology.
- A motivational leader, adaptable to change and have the ability to manage and promote a changing environment.
The role will pay a salary of circa £35k plus benefits, but potentially for the right person the chance to work in an inspirational and rewarding environment should appeal.
