The Role

My client a Consultancy firm based in the City of London are seeking a Chief Operations Officer to support the CEO in the running of the business, the role will include managing operational budgets, optimising business processes, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring effective utilisation of resources. This is an opportunity for a senior operations head to come on board and join the exciting growth journey of the business.

What you'll do

  • Managing the company's core operations, ensuring efficient processes
  • Establish operational goals & KPI's, monitor performance, and implement strategies to improve productivity
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing process improvementsManage the operational governance of the GLT and its associated committees
  • Directly line manage the London based Operations and Project Management team
  • Resource management and allocation
  • Leading contract negotiation with clients and onboarding
  • Responsible for identifying and managing operational risks

Who you are

  • Ideally educated to degree level
  • Experience in operational leadership roles is essential
  • Strong financial acumen & previous commercial business experience, ideally in client facing businesses
  • Experience in a growing company – with experience around process and system implementation
  • Proven line management experience & ability to manage diverse teams
  • Legal / contract management knowledge & experience preferred
  • Negotiation experience preferred
  • Fintech / technology operations experienced is highly desirable
