Job Description: Supply Teacher (General Cover)
Location: North West England, Lancashire, Preston
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time and Full-Time (Depending on Preference)

Salary: £110 - £210 Per day
As a Supply Teacher (General Cover), you will play a vital role in the education and development of students in North West England. You will be responsible for providing temporary teaching cover and ensuring a conducive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and age groups in accordance with the school's curriculum and policies.
  • Manage the classroom effectively, promoting positive behaviour and maintaining discipline.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational requirements.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff.
  • Supervise students during break times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall educational objectives of the school.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance, or willingness to undergo the necessary checks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
