Job Title: Accounts & Credit Control Administrator

Location: Crowborough

Salary: £27-28,000 per annum

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM - Monday to Friday (4pm finish on Fridays)

Do you have experience in Credit Control and Accounting/Finance? Do you enjoy building rapport with clients and working with them to bring their accounts up to date and add value to a small yet growing business?

We are looking for a Credit Controller & Accounts Administrator to join a friendly, close-knit team in Crowborough, working alongside the Finance Director you will be responsible for the function and can implement new ideas within the role to make your own!

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage credit control process for the company from start to finish
  • Managing a client base of up to 150 accounts
  • Making daily, weekly, monthly calls and emails depending on status of account to ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner
  • Ensuring clients are receiving relevant invoices and raising any errors with the finance team
  • Entering information/bank details for new suppliers onto the system
  • Escalating to Finance Director where required
  • Reconciliation of invoices using Microsoft Excel
  • Accounts Administration
  • Ad hoc projects and assisting the Finance Director with daily tasks

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Suitable for candidates with good experience in using Microsoft Excel and a confident user
  • Prior experience in Credit Control / Accounts / Purchase Ledger is required for this position
  • Numerically minded and someone who likes problem solving
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
  • Self motivated and work on your own initiative as with the wider team

Working hours:

  • 9-4.30pm, Monday - Friday.
  • Supportive team, relaxed, social atmosphere
  • Office Based, No Hybrid
