Hours:? Term Time, Monday - Friday 8:30- 4:30, Flexible for right candidate

Salary: £24,702-£26,421 FTE plus additional payments for holiday

The Role: Working as the PA to senior leadership team you will provide professional, efficient, and comprehensive administrative support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership team. In this busy and varied role you will be directly responsible to head teacher, taking ownership of diary management, organising and arranging appointments as well as acting as first point of contact for enquiries and correspondence.

You will play a key part in providing administrative support to the school community, advocating for the school within the local and wider community as well as other stakeholders, maintaining high levels of sensitivity and emotional literacy at all times.

Key Duties

  • Act as first point of contact for the Senior Leadership Team, using initiative to assess urgency of enquiries and dealing with telephone calls/correspondence or redirecting as appropriate.
  • Work closely and collaborate with the School Business Manager to evaluate and improve administrative systems and structures
  • Prepare documents, reports, and non-standard correspondence for the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Maintain the Headteacher's diary, arranging appointments and organising meetings
  • Provide confidential administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Develop and review filing systems, ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive documents and meeting data protection requirements.
  • Support meetings and events by taking notes, minutes, and following up on actions.
  • Coordinate recruitment and interview processes.
  • Oversee the school's training and development, ensuring records are up-to-date.
  • Work collaboratively with the administration team, delegating tasks and providing support to ensure consistent and efficient service

About You

  • Proven experience in an administrative support role
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications and other relevant software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
