Reporting directly into the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in enhancing the company's financial capabilities, contributing to critical business decisions, and driving the company's continued success.
Some of the key Responsibilities

- You will prepare monthly management accounts for various divisions, including detailed analysis and interpretation of financial performance.
- You will report planned and actual performance effectively, ensuring the senior management team fully understands the financial data.
- You will provide accurate and timely financial information, analysis, and insights to support decision-making and inform budgeting and forecasting processes.
- You will conduct financial modelling to predict future performance and provide professional financial advice to Project Managers.
- You will Identify and implement cost management initiatives and efficiency improvements.
- You will collaborate with the Head of Finance to enhance the quality and effectiveness of financial reports and management information.
- You will produce project/operational cash flow forecasts for major projects.
- You will own and reconcile project balance sheets, including WIP, cost accruals, and deferred/accrued income.
- You will assist Business Partners with monthly reporting and group consolidations.
- You will support annual audit preparation and delivery.
Who the Client is looking for...
- You must be a Qualified Accountant (
CIMA
,
ACCA,
or
ACA
)
- Possess strong Excel skills, with experience handling large datasets.
- Have strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly interpret and understand financial information.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Project accounting experience would be desirable
