Reed is recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering company based in Elland, our client is looking for a Service Administrator to join their operational team on a permanent basis.

This role is vital to their continued business growth and will involve supporting clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors. If you have experience in a service/administrative environment and are looking for a role with a variety of responsibilities, we would like to hear from you.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Provide support to clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Receive and respond to inbound calls and emails, ensuring timely updates of job statuses.
  • Log client requests and call-outs on our CAFM system and update it with information from various stakeholders.
  • Plan and monitor engineers' workloads across the UK.
  • Perform general helpdesk administrative duties.
  • Generate and issue purchase orders as well as client reports for key accounts.
  • Monitor and manage operational KPIs to achieve SLAs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a service/administrative role, ideally within a service industry.
  • Understanding of building maintenance services is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent telephone manner with strong literacy skills, including good spelling and grammar.
  • Team player with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
