The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced hands on IT Manager to join this growing manufacturing business. Working as part of an established management team you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the IT strategy, managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions to achieve the business objectives and KPIs. The business has a very collaborative culture which is underpinned by the role being based onsite.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing the IT roadmap
- Managing and developing a small team
- Maintaining the network and infrastructure (Windows/VMware with M365)
- Managing 3rd party suppliers
- Maintaining compliance to Information Security standards, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essential plus
- Lead and manage IT projects including infrastructure and systems
- Managing the IT assets
- Managing service delivery against KPIs
- Creating and administering IT DR plans
You will also research and develop the management reporting, notably BI, to allow more decision making to be data driven.
The Person
As an experienced IT Manager from working in manufacturing, you will possess broad infrastructure and systems skills, including ERP.
Most importantly, you will be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, can think on your feet, possess a thick skin and be pragmatic in taking a practical view to issues.
