Associate Director, Inside Sales

Are you an experienced sales professional with software/SaaS sales experience within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industries?

Our client is establishing their UK business and so are looking for business-minded individuals to join their growing team and support this growth moving forward.

Reporting directly into the Vice President of the organisation, the Associate Director of Inside Sales will create and execute sales strategies to drive sales and revenue growth for the business.

In addition, this role will have line management responsibility for a team of 3 Sales Associates and will:

  • Set KPIs and sales targets for the team – ensuring that performance is regularly monitored and reviewed.
  • Have full oversight of the sales pipeline – further analysing and reporting on sales performance.
  • Liaise directly with clients – developing and maintaining strong relationships to drive the sales cycle.
  • Work cross-functionally with the external Sales and Marketing teams to align on wider sales and business objectives.

At this level, it is essential that applicants can demonstrate a successful sales track record within software sales – either in R&D, clinical, safety/pharmacovigilance or Regulatory for example.

You will also:

  • Ideally be educated to Degree level within a Life Sciences or Business discipline.
  • Hold excellent leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor your team to drive sales and commercial success for the organisation.
  • Be customer-focused and confident engaging with clients at all levels.
  • Have the motivation and drive to achieve sales targets and objectives.
