Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with an organisation based in Bicester to recruit a Finance Director. This is a part time role - around 30 hours per week. The Finance Director will receive a salary of up to £90,000 (Pro rata to 30 hours a week) along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working.
This flexible role requires a commercial minded Finance Director.
Primary responsibilities;
- As an Executive Director and member of the board, overall responsibility for finance function operations, including production of timely management accounts for Board and management meetings, interim and year end statements.
- People management and their development responsibility for finance, IT and Reporting Teams.
- The provision of financial analysis for business decision making and setting of financial policy around investment and commercial commitments in conjunction with the MD.
- Produce creative financial models to facilitate commercial development and business improvement
- Produce annual budget and quarterly variance analysis reports for board meetings with detail explanation of variance
- Ensuring effective financial governance in terms of procedures, protocols and processes.
- Provide financial information to inform HR policy in relation to remuneration, workforce planning and other people resource areas
- Ensuring effective financial governance in terms of procedures, protocols and processes.
- Provide financial analysis to inform HR policy in relation to remuneration, salary banding and progression and performance related reward systems, in conjunction with the People and Culture Director
- Develop a companywide Digital/ IT Strategy Management of Company IT through the Company's service provider.
- The development of the Company's commercially related quality systems and procedures.
- Representation on the Board.
- Review Company Secretary responsibilities, including Company insurances and advising Directors on legal matters.
Key experience and attributes;
- Qualified Accountant
- Commercially focused
- Previous experience as a Finance Director
- Experience leading financial strategy
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to demonstrate strategic financial thinking
