Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage transport logistics and plan deliveries efficiently.
- Handle goods-in paperwork and process purchase orders meticulously.
- Maintain smooth communication with customers, suppliers, sales teams and engineers.
- Take orders, provide rates, and manage breakdown calls effectively.
- Coordinate with engineers to ensure timely repairs and uphold our high standards of service.
- Operate at the heart of our busy office, supporting a team of four admins and a group of skilled engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Experience in logistics or transport management is advantageous.
- A proactive approach and readiness to take initiative.
- Desire to grow within the company and take on increasing responsibilities.
