Castlefield Recruitment are working with an established Not for Profit organisation who are looking to appoint an Management Accountant to their team. The role:
- The key responsibility of the role is to support the Management Accountants team and Financial Controller in delivering effective accounting information and support to the organisation
- Delivery of monthly management accounts with supporting commentary and analysis, working closely with departmental heads and the finance team
- The role involves supporting budget holders in to understand their financial statements and assisting them to prepare reliable and well thought out budgets and forecasts
- The role also assists with budgeting and forecasting, the preparation of statutory accounts, consolidations and leading on the development of systems, controls and procedures
The person:
- Qualified accountant (CCAB/CIMA) or studying towards a relevant qualification
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to converse with a variety of stake holders
- Experience working with financial systems
- Possess a desire to work within a Not-for-Profit setting
