Student Progress Coach

We are seeking a dedicated Student Progress Coach to provide pastoral support and mentoring to a caseload of students. This role involves working closely with Curriculum Managers and teaching staff to help students overcome barriers to achievement and develop their wider social and employability skills.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Act as a Progress Coach for a designated number of learners, advocating for their needs and supporting their successful completion of educational journeys by monitoring progress and performance.
- Support learners' induction, performance, progress, and progression through regular interactions and tailored support plans.
- Manage a caseload of learners, conducting group tutorials, focused sessions, and one-to-one meetings.
- Deliver the mandatory tutorial plan for the allocated caseload of learners.
- Monitor student attendance within the caseload, collaborating with curriculum teams and intervention coaches to enhance attendance in line with college policies.
- Implement proactive intervention strategies upon identifying barriers to learning, and refer learners to appropriate support services as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of student support services and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with students, staff, and external partners.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and conduct both group and individual mentoring sessions.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate records and monitoring student progress.
