A leading tech focused personal lines insurance business are looking to expand their pricing portfolio team.
You will support the Portfolio Manager in analysing the portfolio and pricing, recommending changes and then supporting the deployment of those changes whether via new technical models or more segmented changes. You will be working closely with retail pricing experts, data scientists, product and marketing.
In a day to day sense you will be monitoring the underwriting performance of our portfolio, identifying issues and then working to deploy changes to address them. So you'll need to be highly data literate with not just good technical skills but a good
feel
for data – identifying little movements and changes and drilling into them to find out what is going on.
To succeed at this role, the ideal applicant will demonstrate the following:
- A minimum of 2 years personal lines insurance experience - within pricing/data/portfolio management.
- Comfortable working with technology and code – some knowledge of R is highly desirable.
- A good communicator – changes to pricing have significant impact so we want someone who is comfortable explaining them to various stakeholders.
