Castlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a South East-based local authority to recruit a Finance Business Partner on an initial 3 – 6 month basis (strong possibility for extension). This is an excellent opportunity to add value to an organisation going through a period of progressive change, and can be worked remotely (occasional trips to the office).
Responsabilities;
- The role plays a key role in providing a robust accounting service to the Housing service area
- Liaise with budget holders to produce accurate budgets and ensure that financial risk is understood
- Assist in the training of budget holders on financial matters
- Production of KPI reports
- Presentation of financial reports to senior management
- Attendance and contribution to regular budget monitoring reports with senior stakeholders
The person;
- CCAB/CIMA qualified, or relevant experience
- Proven business partnering approach
- Experience within public sector finance
- Local authority experience (desirable)
