National Sales Manager

We are looking to appoint a National Sales Manager, ideally based within the London Area/ Greater London and or Home Counties. For the exceptional candidate, location could be negotiated.
About the Company
We are a high-growth Logistics company with over 60 owned offices and franchises worldwide. We continue to experience consistent year on year growth within the Same Day Logistics Industry, by utilising our assets and customer service to maximise the end customer experience. Our growth is a result of an active sales force, diligent account management and personalised customer service. The National Sales Manager role would report play a pivotal role in working with local branches and franchises, but delivering Enterprise/National Size Accounts, as part of a National Function, reporting to the Head of UK National Sales

The role requires daily collaboration with the operation, commercial and customer teams in order to maximise success. About the Responsibilities
As National Sales Manager you will have / be:
- - Making first introductions with customers
- - Scheduling meetings/Teams Calls/Calls to win customers
- - Build a pipeline that will be reviewed weekly, which is focused on the right customers, and has enough within this to succeed and build with the support of your manager and the team.
- - Tracking all sales activities in company CRM Hubspot
- - Working closely with the National Customer Services team to ensure the best service and retention of customers
- - Developing strong, ongoing relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers
- - A can-do attitude. We are agile enough and the customers sometimes can take a while to build, so taking some tougher business, at the start will help build the partnership
- - A team player, willing to help others when needed and go the extra mile. As a company we pride ourselves on going the extra mile, even if I can be outside your designated hours. We want somebody driven to hit there target
- - Great written and verbal communication skills
About You
As a National Sales Manager we want someone who is / can:
- - An excellent closer, and pull in the correct people at the right times, to lean on their expertise

- - Understand the impact of issues upon the business
- - Clearly manage expectations, and be able to manage upwards, and be well prepared

- - Have the ability in the right way to challenge the ways of working so Speedy Freight can continue to develop to offer an even better service
- - 3 years' experience of selling into C-Level Decision makers of Enterprise/National accounts. A very Solid knowledge of the Same Day shipping and logistics industry. Niche Experience within either the Hospitality, Events, and/or Construction/Manufacturing sectors would be advantageous.
About the Rewards
In the role of National Sales Manager, you will work Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.
A salary of £50,000 per annum
Uncapped residual commission scheme
Car Allowance (5K per Annum) and option of a company car after probation is passed.
28 days holiday including bank holiday
