Trainee Assistant Site Manager

My client, a national PLC developer, is looking to hire a Trainee/ Assistant Site Manager for their region, with schemes based across Peterborough & Cambridgeshire.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is currently working in a supervisor role and looking to take their first step into site management looking within the residential sector.

Duties,

  • Entry level role - Ideally for someone with a trade background/subcontractor background
  • Train in all elements of site management, including working with all trades & labour and sub-contractors
  • Work alongside site manager/project manager
  • Working in line with company programmes and have a clear understanding of customer care
  • Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
  • Learn and understand the companies' structure and way of working whilst taking on any training that will support your role.
  • Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
  • Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
  • Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to
  • Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
  • Monitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractors
  • Ensuring any remedial work is completed prior to occupation

Qualifications,

  • Worked as a Trainee ASM on a new build housing site
  • Previous trade/site background
  • Previous supervisor experience
  • Strong work ethic, drive and ambition
  • CSCS
