My client is a dynamic Managed Service Provider (MSP) dedicated to delivering exceptional IT support and solutions to our diverse client base. We are looking for a talented Second Line Support Engineer to join the growing team and provide high-quality support across a range of technologies, including Microsoft Azure, Entra, Windows Server, Cisco networks, and Draytek routers.

The Role

As a Second Line Support Engineer, you will be a key player in the technical team, providing advanced support and solutions to our clients. You will work closely with first-line support to resolve complex issues, ensuring smooth and efficient operations for our clients' IT environments. Your expertise in Microsoft Azure, Entra, Windows Server, Cisco networks, and Draytek routers will be crucial in delivering top-tier service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide second-line technical support for a range of IT issues.
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure and Entra environments.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
  • Configure, manage, and support Cisco network devices.
  • Configure, manage, and support Draytek routers.
  • Assist with the deployment and management of network and server infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with first-line support to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of support activities and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a second-line support role or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Entra.
  • Expertise in Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Cisco network devices and configuration.
  • Familiarity with Draytek routers and their configuration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) are highly desirable.
