**Premises Officer Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance, security, and cleanliness of the school premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of the building and grounds to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Perform minor repairs and coordinate with external contractors for larger maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with setting up rooms and equipment for events and activities.
- Manage stock and supplies for cleaning and maintenance.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and alarms as necessary.
**Premises Officer Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a school or educational setting.
- Strong practical skills and the ability to carry out minor repairs.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to respond quickly to changing circumstances.
