About Us: We are a well-established nursery school located in the heart of Garstang, dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis, with the potential for a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education.
- Lead and motivate a team of dedicated staff, ensuring they are supported in their roles.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the wellbeing of all children.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of educational activities that support the development of each child.
- Ensure that all nursery policies and procedures are followed, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both children and staff.
Requirements:
- Relevant childcare qualifications (minimum Level 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent).
- Proven experience working in a nursery setting, with experience as a Deputy Manager or Room Leader.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
- Ability to provide professional references from previous employment and/or studies.
