Role Overview:
As a Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in procurement and supply chain operations. Your responsibilities include sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet the company's operational needs while emphasising cost-effectiveness and maintaining high-quality standards. If you are a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Officer (CPO), or Supply Chain Manager with a passion for renewable energy this is an exceptional opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring the availability of quality products or services.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable agreements.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address issues, improve performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyse prices and market trends to optimize costs.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure purchased goods or services meet specified requirements.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role, within the Renewable Energy and Solar Industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective sourcing strategies.
- In-depth understanding of the renewable energy sector and knowledge of relevant products and technologies.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable terms and conditions with suppliers.
