Ecology Consultant Role Description
The Ecological Consultant for this environmental consultancy will perform comprehensive surveys to recognise and safeguard legally protected species, as well as produce high-quality ecological reports. They will use their excellent communication and teamwork skills to work closely with clients, specialists, contractors, and the community, and build and maintain strong professional connections within the organisation and external partners.
Ecology Consultant Requirements
- Substantial experience as a professional ecological consultant.
- Good ecological field skills covering a range of protected species and habitats.
- Understanding of the legislation surrounding ecology and nature conservation.
- Report writing skills and experience (PEAs and EIAs)
- BSc or higher in relevant subject essential
- CIEEM membership
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Protected species licence(s)
- Willing to work towards FISC (Level 3)
