Fantastic new role for a well-established firm based in Worthing.

Legal Secretary - Conveyancing Department.

Purpose

To provide full secretarial and administrative support to the 2 fee earners in the conveyancing department, liaising with clients and other staff as appropriate to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Duties

  • The role includes but is not limited to the following:
  • Audio and copy typing
  • Client contact- updating clients and dealing with enquiries, estate agents etc
  • Undertake general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning and filing.
  • Opening and closing files.
  • Access and input data on to the firm's case management system - Visual Files.

The role will suit candidates with the following skills and abilities:

  • Fast and accurate typing skills.
  • The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise.
  • Good communication skills both on the telephone and in person.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
