Legal Secretary - Conveyancing Department.
Purpose
To provide full secretarial and administrative support to the 2 fee earners in the conveyancing department, liaising with clients and other staff as appropriate to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Duties
- The role includes but is not limited to the following:
- Audio and copy typing
- Client contact- updating clients and dealing with enquiries, estate agents etc
- Undertake general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning and filing.
- Opening and closing files.
- Access and input data on to the firm's case management system - Visual Files.
The role will suit candidates with the following skills and abilities:
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise.
- Good communication skills both on the telephone and in person.
- Attention to detail.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
