Commercial Reporting Manager

Salt are working with a leading Telecoms Giant as they seek to hire a Reporting and Analytics Manager who excels in delivering actionable insights and driving data-focused strategies within a commercial environment.

The ideal candidate will be skilled at leveraging data analytics to support business decisions and is comfortable working hands-on with programming languages to address complex business questions. If you thrive in a collaborative, flat-structured organisation and are passionate about continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement, this ASAP starting 5 month contract role could be for you.

Key Requirements:

  • Design and oversee measurable customer strategies that align with commercial objectives, ensuring data insights drive real impact.
  • Effectively identify and analyse opportunities for improvement by assessing performance data and experimentation criteria to guide decision-making.
  • Create compelling messages and reports that encourage data adoption and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Support stakeholders in developing a data-driven mindset
  • Provide input for product development to ensure accurate data handling and effective reporting structures.
  • Communicate insights in an engaging, non-technical language with visualisations that will influence and inspire change.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in evaluating and scoring campaign performance using KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and experience with coding languages (e.g., Python, R) and SQL.
  • Experience working in a digital environment, understanding the connectivity of platforms such as websites, CRM, and digital content.
  • Skilled in data analysis, segmentation, and problem-solving with a critical thinking approach.
  • Ability to understand commercial objectives and translate data insights to support business goals.
  • Comfortable working within an Agile framework.
  • Able to approach data projects with the customer's experience in mind.
  • Excellent at simplifying technical findings for non-expert audiences, with a talent for clear storytelling.
  • Experienced with A/B testing, statistical significance, and hypothesis testing
