Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire.

Our client is a longstanding and established UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy who have a strong presence in the Midlands region. They are now looking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. You will be working on Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare and Local Authority, carrying the full range of surveying and analytical duties. You will be well be able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines. Due to the nature of the role, our client would consider candidates who only hold the BOHS P402 and are looking to gain further Pcerts modules and experience.
Candidates will have good access to the M1 and surrounding areas: Wellingborough, Kettering, Rugby, Lutterworth, Royal Leamington Spa, Coventry, Markert Harborough, Desborough, Nuneaton, Leicester, Coalville, Melton Mowbray, Loughborough, Beeston, Nottingham, Derby.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent is beneficial to the role.
" Extensive hands-on experience working in a surveying and / or analytical role for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Experience using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Good communication skills.
" Able to prioritise workload efficiently.
The Role:
" Working on Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare and Local Authority sites.
" Carrying out management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys.
" Undertaking 4 stage clearances.
" Leak, smoke, background, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
" Auditing of contractors on site.
" Sampling of suspected ACMs, ensuring to bag and label correctly prior to sending for analysis.
" Carrying out work in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" Using industry relevant systems to produce detailed reports based on site findings.
