We are seeking an experienced App Developer to lead the development of our clients Flutter-based mobile application. This role involves enhancing the digital service experience for our clients by providing a seamless app experience for viewing investment portfolios. The successful candidate will also be responsible for porting functionality from their legacy Cordova app, Silo, into their new platform/app, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve and innovate their applications offerings.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Lead the development of their Flutter mobile app.
  • Port functionality from the legacy Cordova app, Silo, to the new app.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA teams throughout the product release lifecycle.
  • Share knowledge and product updates with the wider team.
  • Contribute to technical and product decisions, as well as the technology roadmap.
  • Explore, prototype, and implement new features to enhance the client app experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in mobile application development, with at least 2 years working with Flutter.
  • Practical experience of the entire app lifecycle, from development to deployment.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining a scalable component-based frontend architecture.
  • Proficiency in converting designs from prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Experience in creating maintainable and quality unit tests.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and various tools for crash reporting and analytics.
  • Working knowledge of Javascript.
  • Familiarity with Android and iOS development, build configuration, and the platform ecosystem.
  • Understanding of mobile platform conventions, possibilities, and performance challenges.
  • Experience with Native Android UI development, Native iOS UI development, backend development, and CI/CD practices and tools is advantageous.
