Start after October half-term - Full-Time

A primary school in Thatcham is actively looking for a committed SEN Classroom Mentor to be part of their team due to a significant increase in SEN diagnoses. As the demand for additional support grows, the school is enhancing its services to cater to children with special educational needs and complex conditions.

The SEN Classroom Mentor will support students, aged 3 to 11, both 1:1 and in small groups. The children have diverse needs, including Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, behavioral challenges, sensory issues, physical disabilities, and communication difficulties. The role involves working closely with the SENCo and teachers to address individual learning goals, while providing essential academic and emotional support to help students thrive in the classroom environment.
