Eames is currently working with a global insurance carrier on the appointment of a Compliance Manager to join their international team in London. As a Compliance Manager, you will provide monitoring services the firm's governing bodies and a range of business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and implement the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan.
- Support stakeholders in designing controls to address identified weaknesses.
- Compile Compliance Monitoring reports for Board and Committee meetings, highlighting compliance levels and control effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on progress regarding remedial actions from compliance findings.
- Collaborate with Assurance functions for unified oversight and reporting.
- Contribute to the development of the annual Compliance Plan and departmental procedures.
- Support the Head of Compliance in implementing the Plan and managing the Compliance function.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. FCS, PRA, CBI and BMA.
- Proven experience in a managing agent or general insurance environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Compliance Monitoring role.
- Experience managing a small team.
