Salary up to £24,375

Full time and Permanent working 8am until 4pm Monday to Friday.

Due to Business growth, we have been requested to recruit a Facilities Operative to join our client based in Corsham.

Duties and responsibilities as follows:

  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairs, basic decoration, like-for-like electrical changes, and basic plumbing.
  • Conduct routine maintenance of equipment and plant following a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule.
  • Maintain cleanliness in storage areas and main gangways, including the use of a ride-on sweeper.
  • Collect and process cardboard and plastic waste for recycling.
  • Assemble and dismantle office furniture.
  • Assemble and dismantle racking storage systems.
  • Collaborate with the team on various ad-hoc projects and duties.
  • Assist specialist contractors as needed.
  • Consistently adhere to Health and Safety standards within specified areas of the warehouse.
  • Ensure accurate and safe movement and storage of stock, timely fulfilment of orders, and achievement of all other targets.

Candidate requirements:

  • Physically fit and able to undertake duties
  • Proactive approach, with positive 'can do' attitude
  • Strong team player
  • Quick to learn
  • Ability to respond to unforeseen incidents effectively
  • Driving Licence (required)

Due to the rural location, no public transport, and the occasional requirement to attend second site based in Colerne your own transport is essential.

This is a physically demanding position.
